EVENFLOW at 1st German Robotics Conference
EVENFLOW participated at the 1st German Robotics Conference which was held from 13 to 15 March 2025 in Nuremberg with over 500 participants. The event brought together robotics researchers, industry leaders, and innovators from all over the world to discuss cutting-edge developments and challenges in robotics.
EVENFLOW was represented by partner Satyam U. Dudhagara, DFKI, who presented his work in a poster session under the title Adaptive and Scalable Multi-Mobile-Robot Simulation.
The poster presented a scalable simulation framework using ROS and Isaac Sim to integrate autonomous robots into flexible industrial environments, addressing challenges such as production variability, data scarcity, and the sim-to-real gap. Key features included scene randomisation, synthetic data generation, and a ROS/Python-based platform that enables adaptable testing with metrics like collision rates and path/task completion time. The framework produces multi-modal sensor data, supports complex event forecasting, and enables robots to learn from real-time production changes. Results demonstrated its effectiveness in enhancing robot performance in dynamic, modular production scenarios.
Attendees had the opportunity to participate in insightful discussions, technical sessions, and networking opportunities, making it a key event for robotics enthusiasts and professionals alike.
