The EVENFLOW project was presented on Tuesday 8 July at the 60th Summer School of NCSR Demokritos, which took place at the Centre’s premises at Agia Paraskevi, Athens.

As part of the EVENFLOW project partner Nikos Katzouris (NCSRD) presented his work titled Neuro-Symbolic Complex Event Recognition in the main auditorium of the Conference Centre.

The talk explored the integration of symbolic reasoning with machine learning techniques for the detection and interpretation of complex events in dynamic environments. N. Katzouris showcased recent advances from the EVENFLOW project, highlighting the potential of neuro-symbolic approaches to enhance the transparency, robustness, and explainability of AI systems.
