The EVENFLOW project was presented to a Chinese Delegation of Artificial Intelligence, from the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China & AI Center, and policy makers from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Athens who visited the premises of partner National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos” (NCSRD) in Athens, Greece on Tuesday 26 September 2023. During the visit Dr. George Paliouras, Technical and Scientific Lead of EVENFLOW presented the project and its objectives as part of the broader European AI Ecosystem.

More specifically, Dr. Paliouras presented the ongoing AI Research taking place at the Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications at NCSRD, which includes the EVENFLOW project, amongst others.

The primary goal of the meeting was to lay the basis for strengthening the relations between Greek and Chinese research institutions and explore potential collaboration opportunities in the field of Artificial Intelligence between the two countries focusing on research, education, and innovation.
