Partner BSC showcases research on breast cancer progression at ECCB 2024
Guillermo Prol Castelo, Ph.D. Student at partner Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), participated in the 23rd European Conference on Computational Biology (ECCB 2024), held in Turku, Finland. ECCB 2024 took place from 16 to 20 September 2024 and is one of the most prestigious events in the field, gathering leading experts from around the world to discuss breakthroughs in computational biology.
Guillermo presented his latest research on Representation Learning at the Forefront of Research in Breast Cancer Progression, contributing to the conference in two distinct formats. His work, which focuses on using advanced machine learning techniques to better understand and predict breast cancer progression, was showcased both as a poster in the general conference and a presentation during the Student Council Symposium.
